At around 700 m above sea level on the slopes of the Costa Blanca, at the entrance to the Guadelest valley, we planted the first grapevines on our finca Torre Enmedio in the mid-eighties.
Grapevines were cultivated here as early as the time of the Moors. But the arrival of the Phylloxera pest in the second half of the 19th century temporarily ended this ancient tradition.
We had a vision of reviving the tradition and started out on our winegrowing adventure!
